Lesson one (firsties)

His first lesson quickly approached as he apparated out of his house trunk and into his office. The dark arts were his speciality and how the sisters didn't guess he was mixed in with evil he didn't know, it wasn't exactly hidden. He moved through his office to the classroom and perched on the front of his desk with a book in hand. He hated waiting around and this book was one he had yet to finish.

Darcie walked into the classroom silently, if not nervously. She looked at the teacher to say hi, but as he was reading a book, she didn't want to interrupt him. She simply chose to sit in a desk in front of the teacher and waited for him to realize that he had a student present. After five seconds of waiting, she decided to get out her own book (her textbook) and read until class started or Professor Sharpe greeted her.

Darcie glanced up from her book briefly to see if the teacher had noticed her. Seeing that he did not and that she was the only student thus far, Darcie returned to her book, slightly annoyed.
