A drink (Open)

Jahat walked into Vodka and Beer. He ordered a Vodka and took a long drink. He told the bartender to keep them coming. He was hoping to see someone he knew.

Jahat only wished he could have his wolf with him. He usually never went anywhere without her but what could he do.

Katharine happily waked into the overly crowded Vodka and Beer. She wasn't use to the smell yet, but she was sure that it would change. Kat walked over the an open seat and ordered a beer. This would be her first time trying beer and she couldn't wait. Kat looked to her left and there was a shady looking guy who kept eyeing her, and to her right was an okay looking guy. She lightly tilted her head to one side then the other, her aunt always did tell her it was inpolite to stare but there was just something about him.

" Veuillez m'excuser, mais pourrait vous être français?" She asked with more of her Poland accent coming out then she ment.



( Excuse me, but might you be French?)

"Oui, I am." Jahat said in english. He was trying to keep up with the English language so he spoke it as much as possible. He wanted to talk to her but he wasn't sure what to say.

" Oh that's really awesome. So how long have you been in America?" She asked very friendly. Just because she had a hard time trusing others, doesn't mean she couldn't be nice to them. Katharina went bugged eyed as she forgot something very impotant. "I forgot, my name is Katharina Baker. But you can call me Kat...or Riny.....or really any other nickname that is PG." She lightly joked laughing. Kat picked up her beer and took a big gulpe, then she sip it back into her cup.

She turned to the bartender and asked for a Vodka instead.

"Oh I'm Jahat Satu. You can call me JaJa, everyone does, but please don't call me hun or something like that." Jahat smiled. Drinking more of his vodka, he looked at the women who spoke to him.

Kat laughed aloud. " So that means amour is out of the question." She said with a light sigh, it was something she said to almost everyone, not like she actually meant it, it was just something she said to those she either meets or forgets their name...whichever came first. Kat looked around and then at the creep that was eyeing her eariler as he gave her a kissy face and she shuddered. " Diese kriechen...Ich meine, ich weiß, ich bin gut aussehend verwarnest aber wirklich? Es gibt so vielen andere Mädchen hier in der Nähe." She said to herself as she took a sip of her Vodka carefully.



( Love; This creep...I mean I know I'm good looking and all but really? There are so many other girls around here.)

"Its up to you, but friends don't get to call me hun." Jahat teased. Noticing that someone was messing with her. "Hey sir, please leave her alone. I don't want to have to get involved. Nice German right?" Jahat asked.

" Alrighty then so amour it is Jaja." She said with a cutesy wink....although it came off as a joke. Kat was suprised at Jaja.....she then nodded. "Yeah....it's was the second language, I think, I learned." She said with a smile as the guy got up and walked away, she was here for fun not drama. And so long as she could keep drinking and not get hit on she's fine.

" Thank you amour." She said drinking more of her drink, this drinks she liked.

"Amour, alright. I guess I can't stop you from calling me it. I'll just have to think of a name for you then, chéri," Jahat teased.

" Chéri..." Kat lightly repeated with a slight blush. "Like I told you, you can call me whatever you please.....so long as it's in reason and PG." Kat said with a smirk, her aunt always did call her a flirt....although she wasn't trying.


"So amor," she started as she took a swig of her drink, "how long have you been in America?" She asked as she played with her necklace.

"Yes I like chéri it is going to be your new name." Jahat smiled and drank some more. Watching as the bartender filled his drink again.

"Well chéri, I've been in America for some time now. I really don't remember. It may have been about six months to a year. What about you, chéri? Are you from America or somewhere in Europe?" Jahat asked charmingly.

Kat almost choked on her drink at his statement. "Alrighty then, I'm fine with that...it certnally is different." She said clearing her throat.

"Really that long....well I've been here for about......3 years now.....well not in New York." She rambled on and then shook her head. "I've actually moved around for the majority of my life, I lived in France, and Germany, and Poland....and a little of Russia, but not for very long." Kat informed him as she downed the rest of her drink. "Ah yes....those days." Kat said to herself trying ot find a word that would fit her past.

"So amour, what brings and old futty dutty like you here?" Kat asked with a devilish smile.

"That's a lot of places to live. I assume there was a reason," Jahat asked.

"An old futty dutty? I'm 23, chéri, I'm not that old. And I'm here to take a break from the shop. I just hired a manager so I'm taking the night off," Jahat smiled and laughed at her devilish smile.

"Well yes it is. But then again it depends on what your difinition of reasons are." Kat responed with anger in her voice, she quickly shook it off. This was not the time nor the place to have such emotions, she was here to just let go and have fun.



"Oh wow 23...and here I thougth you were only 30 something. " Kat said as innocetly as she could. Of course that didn't last to long as she ended up laughing, Kat turned to the bartender as and asked for a refill. Once she had got it Kat turned her attention to the surrounding people, as she lightly tilted her head to one side and then the other. "I think you have a stalker amour."

"True everyone has their own reasons for moving," Jahat thought about his reasons for sending Zivah to Hogwarts.

"Innocent my butt, chéri, how old are you?" Jahat joked back. He was in a good mood. Looking around he saw what Kat saw, "Oh them? they've been watching me for a while now." Jahat shrugged and continued to drink. He felt the alcohol start to kick in.

"Yep." Kat said on a smile as she downed her newly filled class. And then asked for another. I think i've fallen in love with Vodka. Kat thought to herself, and she took a sip of her thrid class.

"What? And hasn't anyone told you never to ask a lady how old she is?" She asked with half cocked smile. "But if you must know amour, I'm 21. So i'm legal to be drinking this stuff." Kat said with a light raise of her class. "So you have stalkers and you're okay with it....wow, I'm sure all the girls go crazy for a guy like you." Kat joked, she wasn't into the bad boys or the wanna be thugs. No her mother and aunt raised her better then that, but of course she sure as hell wasn't fixing to befriend one of them either. "So, do you mind if I ask why they're just watching you?" She asked downing the rest of her third class, she could now feel the buring in the back of her throat, but Kat didn't care and ordered another one.

"I've told those girls I wasn't interested in them and to leave me alone. They could have taken it any way they wanted. I don't really care they are mindless fangirls anyway. It gets tiresome being followed around all the time. I want to live my life with out them following me all the time." Jahat sighed and was debating on glaring at the girls.

Kat did everything she could to not laugh. "Uhhh...okay?" She was a little confused...then again muggle men and pureblood men are different in personalities. But who was she to judge a person she had just met. Kat downed four more classes of Vodka before the room started to spin. "Uhhh, amour might I ask you a question? What does it feel like to become drunk?" She asked stedding herself on the ledge of the bartenders table. Everythings spinning...and I feel all warm and fuzzy. She thought to herself, lightly shaking her head at the bartender as he offered her another drink. "I'm good thanks."

Jahat laughed and reached over to move Kat. "You are drunk now, Chéri, you need to drink some water," Jahat said as he pulled Kat so she was leaning on him. "Hey I need a water over here" he called to the bartender.

"Chéri, when the water gets here drink it slowly," Smiling Jahat handed her the water.

Kat slowly nodded her head, she feared that if she spoke a word something bad would came out. Kats face flushed fromt he contact and she could feel eyes burning into the back of her head.

Kat kindly took the water and did as she was told and drank it slowly. When she put the water down close to her she lightly closed her eyes and said. "So this....is how it feels to be....drunk. Wow....never doing this again." Kat stood up slowly and grabbed her purse.. "Thank you amour for the chat......and the water."

"Well you might want to be careful, Chéri, do you want me to walk you home?" Jahat was worried about Kat. "Drinking is usually done in moderation and not all at once."

Jahat laughed lightly at Kat. She looked like she wanted to say something really badly. Jahat took another drink and was going to be drunk soon.

Kat lightly swayed as a very very bad thought came to her mind. "No...amour. I'm thinking....I'll go the the lake....hoping I make it there." Kat said, saying the last part to herself. Kat tucked a strand behind her ear feeling Jahats stalkers stare at her. If looks could kill. She thought to herself.


"Well you see amour....I'm 21, young.....and I really couldn't wait.....I just want to see what sort of drink I would like......expriment." Kat said looking innocent.

"Do you want some company? You shouldn't be out drunk." Jahat asked. He was worried. He knew with Kat drunk his stalkers would try to do something to her. Grumbling to himself Jahat said, "Stupid stalkers, why can't you leave me alone?"

"Chéri you need to take a break and if you do get drunk you need someone you can trust to take care of you," Jahat lightly scolded her. He laughed at Kat when she tried to look innocent.

Kat lightly laughed. "Amour, if you are worried for me, please don't be. I might be drunk, but I can still kick some butt if need be." She announed with a grin. Kat was a though cookie, always the tomboy...and of course if all went south she had her demon she could rely on...even though she tried not to use it.


Kat raised an eyebro. "Jaja please don't take this, but you are a handsome guy, and really any girl would be lucky to have you." She said with an honest smile. "Hold on. Look amour you're a nice guy and all, and I'm sure that that line works on all the ladies, but you're talking to the wrong one." Kat said becoming a very dunk defensive person. She really didn't mind being hit on or all the other bs that guys try to pull with her, but talking about someone she can trust, when in turn she didn't trust anyone.

"I didn't mean it like I was hitting on you, Chéri, I was just worring about my friends. If it seemed like I was coming on to you I didn't mean it like that," Jahat said, blushing slightly. He was just worried about his friends. Looking over at his stalkers he sighed.

Jahat turned around and looked at them, "Would you all please go away? I am going home and going to bed and do not want to be bothered." He called out and glared at them.
