Death Or The Strange?

From the very start, Zoya had this misconception that she always chose her life. That her life was nothing but a result of her own actions. Sadly, she is very much mistaken, because from the time she was born, her life has always been a result of other people's choices and decisions. She was barely an hour old when she was stolen from her family by the decision of the house maid. The reason was noble beyond compare, because the maid was risking her life to save Zoya's, for the family she was born into was anything but loving. They were, the cruelest, most loyal servants of the Dark lord, the Lestranges.

From then on, her life did return to normal, or at least normal as it could have been when she was a witch living in an adoptive muggle family. For most of her childhood, Zoya was a mischievous cheerful child, whop refused to let her spirits get down by the often cruel teasing of the other children. Her first and best friends were made when she began her magical schooling, Nate Blackwell and Nebrexus Greyback. For her, her adoptive parents were far more important and held a higher place in her heart than any 'real' parents could possible have and the loss of them, coming at the hands of the Death Eaters, was a major blow in her life. the result made her far more quite and a something died inside her. She resolved to avenge their deaths, hating, like she had never hated anyone before, the cause of their death, the Death Eaters. Nate, Nebrexus and she all joined the ministry as Aurors, each with a specific motivation for their joining in.

The final and most drastic turn in her life came on her first mission, where she confronted and a as result was obliviated by her own twin sister who couldn't be saved, Fallen Lestrange. Now she is trying to rebuild her life. Can she forgive Fallen? And will she ever find her?
