Lesson 1 - Second Years

Sienna walked into her class ready to start teaching another group of kids. She hoped that this time they would be eager to learn and that they would also get it right. She charmed her quill to mark off the students name as they walked in seeing as she couldn't do it.

Dillon strolled into the transiguration classroom and took a seat. She placed her wand neatly on her desk, waiting eagerly for the class to begin.

Zander was at the very back with his feet propped over the backrest of the chair in front of him. His hands were crossed over his chest and his fingers were playing with the end of his ripped sleeve as his head nodded to the beat of the music blaring out his earpiece.

Shortly after the rest of the class entered, Damian dodged through the bodies and sat at the front opposite his brother. He was leaning forward with his head in his hands which were folded over the table. He yawned and tried to keep himself from falling asleep.

He hated morning classes.

Kristie walked into the classroom, took a seat and tapped her manicured nails against the desk and looked casually around the classroom waiting for it to start.

Zander saw the girl coming in and his eyes followed her silently across the room.

The room was rather full - compared to her other classes anyways - when Faye waltzed into the Transfiguration classroom.

Gazing about the classroom, seeing that most of the students had spread out on their own, and it would be rather difficult now to avoid sitting next to any of them, she decided on a seat beside one of her own house members who seemed to be sleeping.

"Don't expect me to wake you if class starts, sleepy head," she said crisply as she slipped into the seat, as with her usual mannor she managed to make the usually playful term of 'sleepy head' sound like a bad thing.

Zander heard some voices and he looked up to see that his brother was talking to someone from his own house. He looked around silently and noticed that none from his house was in the room yet. It didn't matter though. People always left him alone when classes were in session.

"This is taking forever." He muttered.

Rosalinda walked into class. "Hello Professor" she addressed and took an empty seat. Now all Rosalinda had to do was wait for the class to begin.

Staz peered into the class watchfully and unsurely, if she was late, she was going to ditch the class and instead laze around the Common room or something. Noticing the strange eyes of the Professor, she decided to risk it and hurriedly scrambled to take a seat at the back. She didn't greet the professor or say anything to the other students, instead she studied the muggle novel she had brought with her.
