Lesson One (First Years)

Professor Delgado cracked her neck lazily as she waited for the students to arrive. She only had a few students- which meant they were going to have to work harder and she could focus more with them. Lauren didn't particularly feel the need to neither like or dislike her students, but it wouldn't bode well for them if they turned up late to her class. She looked at the huge clock on the wall of the gym she had turned the room into for this lesson. 4 minutes left for them both to arrive.

Tasha walked in, perfectly on time, and said hello on the floor. She stretched a little, previously taking up gymnastics in the muggle world and waited eagerly for the start of the class.

Stretching without being told. Good. Initiative.

"Right Miss Rivera, it seems the rest of our students are late."

"This is our first lesson of the year, and its your chance to prove to me how good you can be. "

Lauren walked to the mat in the center of the room and put her guard up, then smiled slyly.

"Come at me, Miss Rivera." she smirked.

"Oh, that's too bad...for them!", Tasha said, smiling. "More fun for us then." She was nodding her head for approval. "Yes, I hope to prove myself to you, yes."

Her eyes widened as the woman commanded her something. "You want me to do what exactly?", she asked, shocked and then ran towards professor Delgado.

Lauren stood her ground as the young girl ran towards her and she stepped back with her left foot a little.

"Attack." she smirked.

Remembering everything she learned when she copied the guys who knew free running, muggles from her street in London, and with all the grace of someone who did ballet, she attacked her professor, a wee bit scared but ready for more.

Lauren dodged smoothly from the girl.

"Come on, Rivera!" she shouted.

"Punch!" the professor practically ordered. Growling a little in frustration, the woman jabbed her fist towards the girl's stomach, slow enough for the student to dodge if she were any good.
