Lesson 1- Second Years

Annalise floated around the room with a bagful of rune chips in hand and her ghost cat, Kit, at her side. She placed a rune on every desk as she waited for all the older students to arrive. She hoped that the second year class would be as riveting as the first year one. Runes were never a terribly popular subject in Annalise's 300-something years in the runic arts and though she wouldn't be surprised if only 5 or so students showed up, she would appreciate a class of 10 or more. Once all the runes were set, Annalise floated back to her desk, which she sat on and hummed a song the rest of the world had forgotten while she eagerly awaited her next class.
