Lesson one - First years

I bounced into the classroom, still sucking a Chuppa-Choop, strawberry taste with a gum in the middle. I sat at my usual place and looked around for any clues of what we'd be studying today.

After a while, I opened my agenda and started drawing a kind of anime of every of the pages I wouldn't be using. Better get yourself entertained.

"So you're running the lessons from now on?" I asked jokingly as I entered the room.

"Ohhhh please oh please oh please oh pleeease!" Darcie said quietly to herself as she entered the dueling room. She was really hoping that someone she knew would be there. Sighing with relief, she walked over to Anadora and said, "Hi!"

"Hi to both of you!" I said in a very poor attempt to sound normal. The background sucking sound really was awful. I took my Choopa-Choop out of my mouth and winked to Clementine. "I hoped I could run the class, seriously, I can take you both in no time!" I waved my wand in a swashbuckler style.

"Uhhmm...," Darcie said paling considerably, "..I don't doubt that...at all...I was actually just hoping that I could sit and observe everyone and maybe not break anything or set anything on fire..."

"Hey, you, at least, have a little trick in your sleeve in case someone wants to rip your head off, so to speak. I can't turn until my medic says I can. That sucks. You can still use your shadow." I winked and then turned to Clementine. "And I'm sure Miss Smith here, though she always says she's plain and normal, is a wonderful duellist. You wait." I grinned widely.

I muttered something under my breath along the lines of "Pffft, yeah right."

"Oh yeah, there is always that. I've never used for self defense before. There's a first for everything I suppose. And Clem, I highly doubt that the teacher will let us get more than a scrape so I think we'll be okay. I wonder if we're allowed to practice spells in here." Darcie pulled out her wand and twirled it thoughtfully.

"I don't care if we can or not. I haven't learned all those tricks my Grandma during the summer to let them fade in the back of my head!" I said thoughtfully. "I bet we won't have to use it for the first lesson, though. Dammit!"

Alex grinned as he wandered into the room. "Tricky position" He smiled overhearing the conversation.

I rolled my eyes. "Great, party time is over, Alex has arrived."

"Gee, thanks a lot..." I said mockingly.

"I thought it had just started." Alex smirked lightly.

I slapped my forehead. "How can you live with yourself, seriously?" I said, but to be honest Alex was quite funny when I wasn't angry at him.

"Pompous hedgehog..." Clementine muttered grumpily under her breath.

((OOC: Hint- she doesn't like you much. Poor Wimbles.))

Alex winked. "As long as your around, I'm around."

I spotted what Clem said and chuckled. "That's not so far from the truth, actually. You do look like a hedgehog. Someone's got a car to roll on him?" I said mockingly.

"Pity I don't like cars... Make me sick. Not as much as that hedgehog over there does, of course."

"In that case hedgehogs must be very pretty" Alex grinned.

I snapped myself again. "Ouch." I removed my hand. "Remind me to stop facepalming myself or I'll lose an eye or two."

"Yes, I agree. You are a very pretty girl, Hedgey."

"Haha." Alex said sarcastically.

I smiled to Clementine. "Well, have you got all sharpy and everything? Do go on, it suits you!"

"Stop encouraging her, love" Alex smirked.

Emie entered the classroom and here there were again, all of them. They all knew each other, and she had just arrived.

She walked as silently as a shadow towards an empty desk, and melted against the wall.
